Supreme Court grants Commission’s Petition to Accept Stipulation to Permanent Retirement in Lieu of Further Disciplinary Proceedings concerning San Miguel County Magistrate Judge Philip J. Romero, Supreme Court Docket No. 30,316, JSC Inquiry Nos. 2014-063 and 2014-075. The Supreme Court order makes Judge Romero’s retirement permanent effective 02/13/15, forever bars him from holding judicial office in New Mexico, and unseals the Supreme Court’s file in the matter.
